Fly-tipping on Eachelhurst Road: what I'm doing about it

Several residents contacted me about repeated fly-tipping near the Eachelhurst Road shops. I've now met with the council's waste enforcement team and agreed the following:

The action plan

1. CCTV deployment at the two worst hotspots within the next fortnight
2. Increased collection frequency for the communal bins behind the parade
3. Enforcement patrols with fixed penalty notices for offenders

How you can help

If you see fly-tipping in progress, please don't confront anyone — report it through the council's website or via my casework service and it will be logged as evidence.

I'll report back on progress in four weeks.
